Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
I had grown tired of the annual release cycle, but Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the best game in the franchise since Black Flag, as far as I'm concerned.

I truly hope we see more open world Lord of the Rings games in the future, as Shadow of Mordor made an excellent first impression.
Assassin's Creed IV could very well be the best game in the series. At least since Ezio's introduction in Assassin's Creed II.
Having spent just over a week with it, I'm happy to report that I'm enjoying it immensely, and am quite pleased with my decision to side with Sony at launch for this new generation of video game consoles.
