While I didn't spend a whole lot of time playing online, the time spent was quite enjoyable. There's a decent variety of online modes including gang vs gang battles and co-op objective based missions. I definitely plan on getting back to this some time soon and really explore the online aspect of Saints Row.
This afternoon I went to my local EB Games to trade it in. They offered me $17, so obviously I still have it. I might pop it back in while I'm waiting for my auction to end, but I doubt it. The best advice I can give is to rent the game and play it for the full 5 days (or however long you have it for) before passing judgement. I was totally stoked on this game for the first 3 days or so, then it suddenly got boring and tedious.
All-and-all, I had a lot of fun playing Dead Rising. My first play was quite the chore. But once I understood how things worked and realized I'd be playing it through again, it was a ton of fun. Even though there's no multiplayer what-so-ever, I would still recommend Dead Rising as a buy. It will take quite a few hours just to beat the story the first time through, and you'll definitely want to jump back in and do it all over again.
All in all, the single player campaign was a lot of fun. It was cool playing around with the gravity altering switches and walking on the walls and ceilings via those crazy walkways. The portals were also pretty neat, especially when exiting one that is on a wall or ceiling - you end up falling to your feet while the view rotates to the new up-right position.
BFME2 is not for everyone, so it's best to give it a rent or check out the demo on the Marketplace before you buy. And if you've never played an RTS game before, be sure to bring your patience along, as you'll probably need them while you get your bearings.
With the exception of the save functionality, this game is top notch, old school gaming greatness! And on top of everything, it's $15 cheaper than most DS games. You really can't go wrong with New Super Mario Bros.
There really isn't enough good things I could say about this game. I've been a fan of the Half-Life series since HL1 had me staying up until 4am on school nights. If you played Half-Life 2 and enjoyed it, without a doubt get Episode One. It's Half-Life 2 with everything slightly improved.
I really didn't think I would end up with a sports game in my collection. Not to mention, a ping-pong game! But Table Tennis is just great fun and easy to just pick up and play. I've even played a few games with my 7 year-old daughter who had no problem learning the controls and how to use the various shots.
It's kind of hard to recommend this game as it is very short. I'm actually a little embarrassed to say, but I finished it in less than 24 hours from the time I bought it. If you're big into achievement points and a fan of the action adventure genre, Tomb Raider Legend is at least worth a rent. It's just good, old-fashioned fun at it's best.
G.R.A.W. was the system seller for me. I've been considering an Xbox 360 since it's release and with the PC version being pushed back a couple months and me hating on PC gaming these days, I just had to pick one up. It is, without a doubt, one of the best games I've played. Even though I beat it over a week ago, I've still been playing it pretty steady. I highly recommend you check this game out if you're a 360 owner - and if not, it might be time to seriously consider making that investment.
Overall, I had some fun playing Black. I don't see myself playing through the entire game again. I've already played some of the levels through a second time, which was just as fun if not more with infinite ammo.
