Destiny has had a firm grip on me since the alpha back in June, with no intentions on loosening.

Assassin's Creed IV could very well be the best game in the series. At least since Ezio's introduction in Assassin's Creed II.
Battlefield 4 is a game for people who love first person shooters. Its competitive multiplayer is easily some of the best around, and no matter your skill level, can be an enjoyable experience.
It's a real shame that the Killzone franchise has been in a downward spiral since Killzone 2, with the exception of its multiplayer component, which remains quite fun.
Having spent just over a week with it, I'm happy to report that I'm enjoying it immensely, and am quite pleased with my decision to side with Sony at launch for this new generation of video game consoles.
