Lara and I have had a pretty good relationship to date. For the third consecutive year, we’ve hooked up and spent 12-15 enjoyable hours tracking down ancient treasures and weapons, solving massive puzzles, all the while collecting goodies and defeating baddies. We’ve traveled the world a few times over and have always parted ways with smiles on our faces. Unfortunately, this time I’m left feeling a little burned. Lara was far more defiant than I recalled – jumping into walls, instead of jumping up to grab the near-by ledge. Or flat-out jumping the wrong…

With having a new baby and recently going back to freelance work, my schedule/routine has been thrown off quite a bit. It’s pretty tough to plan… anything, actually. Let alone, setting aside some dedicated time for gaming. I’ve basically just been parking my ass on the couch whenever it’s free and the baby’s either sleeping or occupied by someone else. Surprisingly, I’ve been able to get in a bit of gaming every other day or so, which is far more than I anticipated. But as you can tell by the frequency of my posts…

Just after this year’s E3, I wrote about all the great games that are coming out by the end of this year and broke them down into two lists. Games I will most likely buy and others that I’m on the fence about. The year isn’t up yet and we’re actually in the calm before the storm at this point in time. But I don’t know about you, I’m feeling the pinch and having a hard time getting all the gaming in that I’d like to. I’ve already put a few games on the back-burner…
