I did something tonight that I have never done before. I thought about changing my site back to the black design and just went ahead and did it. I didn’t second guess myself, I didn’t try and work it into my schedule. I dropped what I was doing and sat here for a solid 7 hour stretch and just fuckin’ did it. So, why the change?

I knew while I was working on reproducing the feed icon that some folks would find it useful. I had no idea it would take off as it did! I’m extremely stoked that so many people have embraced it and accepted it as the new standard icon. Feels great knowing that I’ve created something that others can benefit from – all for the sake of a better internet.
A ton of eyeballs have seen this site in the past 48 hours and that’s rad as hell – but who wants to read some dude’s long-winded article and have to scroll all the way to the bottom of it to download the icon package? Figured that this icon is important enough to give it a proper home. And thus, I present to you feedicons.com.

On December 14, the Microsoft RSS Team made an announcement on their blog. This announcement is extremely important on many levels and I’m really surprised there hasn’t been more talk about it. Where do I start? The past few days have been incredible around these parts! I joined the CSS Reboot back in August mainly to motivate myself to actually do something with this site and to get my portfolio online (which is on the way). Microsoft announced the first stage of their beta testing for Internet Explorer 7 today – which is a closed beta, intended for developers. How did I get it? There’s this wonderful thing called BitTorrent – you might have heard of it.
Anyway, things didn’t start out so good for my testing experience.
