The latest title from Rockstar Games is likely not what you’re expecting, and for some, this is a very good thing. While the sprawling open world environment is in tact and as impressive as ever, you will spend most of your time doing linear based missions as opposed to running rampant. The focus on thorough investigation over good old gun fighting is rightly apparent, and a welcome change of pace. Mix in a huge amount of polish and impressive technical aspects, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a game!

I really didn’t think I would end up with a sports game in my collection. Not to mention, a ping-pong game! But Table Tennis is just great fun and easy to just pick up and play. I’ve even played a few games with my 7 year-old daughter who had no problem learning the controls and how to use the various shots.

It came out of nowhere, blew me away, then left me blowing shit up for hours-upon-hours.
It might look like a Grand Theft Auto knock-off at first glance. But put a few hours into it and you’ll see that it varies quite a bit from the usual GTA gameplay. It’s much more linear and mission based. Graphically, it’s miles ahead of the blocky figures we’re used to in GTA. The lighting and use of ‘light-bloom’ or over-brightening is simply beautiful.
