It’s been months since I’ve written anything remotely personal. I think my daily use of Twitter and Flickr have had a lot to do with that. I do get all of that out there, but never much at a time given Twitter’s 140 character limit, and all. There’s a lot going on in my life right now and things be a-changing. Of course, this is to be expected when you’re bringing a baby into the world.

Well, well well… what have we here? A brand spankin’ new site – that’s what!

Over the long weekend, I found myself with a few spare hours, between family time, gaming and work. So I decided I’d put some work into myself – or my site, rather. I’m pretty stoked on the outcome, given the amount of hours I put into it. Which was somewhere between 4 and 6. Well, Isn’t That Embarrassing

Today’s been a big day, stats wise. Over 300 unique hits and 700+ page views. Stoked! I’m usually in around the 100-150 page views per day range, which is pretty low. But since this is merely something fun for me to do on the side, it doesn’t bother me in the least.

After seeing how many hits I’ve been getting today, I figured I’d click around and take a good look at the site. Yikes! What a mess!…

Google Map Fun – My Work

I’m sure you’ve all played around with Google’s latest toy – Google Maps. Pretty rad stuff! I tried it out a few weeks ago before the satellite image feature was added and wasn’t nearly as impressed. Now, this is just plain cool! The satellite image of downtown Toronto – the surrounding area of my work is pretty killer. The shadows cast from the taller buildings and the CN Tower look awesome. I wish I could view the city from this angle every day. It’s a lot harder to make out the douche bags and …
