I’ve never smoked a cigar in my life (really!), but was excited to have the opportunity to work with a group of cigar enthusiasts on their blog redesign. The biggest challenge here, was maintaining the dominant dark blues, while presenting the content on a light background. I went a little crazy with textures through-out the design, which was in an effort to make the site feel more authentic, and real. Flat colours on a screen just don’t deliver that same sense of something existing in our world.
