I've been in love with this game since I bought it 4 weeks ago. After beating it, I played it through 2 more times!

The coop is both the most frustrating and fun thing I've played in a long time.

Haven't bought a Wii yet since my oldest son is still only 3. Still a bit too young, Maybe next Christmas though! : )

I've been playing this together with my girlfriend, it actually makes us mad at each other sometimes. Great game though, even though I feel like the worlds are pretty short. I have yet to try the 4-player coop but I can guess it will be pretty chaotic.

Excellent review. I play the game in co-op mode together with my girlfriend. Unfortunately we're both competitive which is not the best way to go through the levels. Especially when 1 of the us wants to move faster than the other, while the other wants to collect the large coins and upgrades. The screen zooms out a bit, but after a while you're pulled to your death by the leading player.

Great review, I think this a perfect evolution of Mario Bros. series. We’ve been having a blast playing so far. Although there are moments when you feel like the Three Stooges running into or bouncing off of each other at the exact wrong moment. We’ve found that having the other player(s) putting themselves in a bubble helps eliminate this effect during trickier sections.

Ah, I meant to mention the bubble trick. I discovered that by accident while playing with my wife one time. Indeed, it's quite handy for levels which require more precision, like the castles.

Super Mario Galaxy is also great, but a totally different style of game. I still much prefer the old school 2D side scroller.
