I also wanted to introduce myself and I think that Google Reader has made the first reading reccomendation that I actually will subscribe to. Look forward to your posts to come.

One thing that's also engaging is the level of problem solving. Well, not like it's any complex logic, but this game definitely differs from SMBs of the past, in that there are puzzles that you have to figure out rather than simply stomping and turtles and defeating bosses.

Yeah boi!!!

I bought a NES a couple of years back with 2 controllers and SMB3 for £16!

I still have it in my room and often play it just to take myself back to the mid - late 80s! Bliss!

Smash Bros. Brawl is the reason I will be purchasing a Wii in the matter of days. This game is also pretty high on my list of games I need to buy - this entry definitely helped my decision. I can't wait for the next installment ft. Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

The Wii is finally at a point where I would recommend it. While there's still not a ton of great games out for it, there's enough good ones to justify buying it. And with Mario Kart on the horizon, it's only getting better.

Weird. I'm pretty sure it asked me to save right after the credits rolled, which likely happen in your case as well. Must be a bug. At least you can keep plugging away, though.

My 9 year-old daughter has been getting into it after watching me play a bit. But it's a bit difficult for her in spots. The more intense platforming areas in particular.

The Wii's a funny little console. I've had mine for about a year now and only recently have I been spending a decent amount of time with it. There's dozen of games available now, but the vast majority are absolutely garbage. There's only really a handful of games worth your time and money. And nothing for big first person shooter fans.

There was a period of nearly 2 months where I didn't touch this game at all. It definitely didn't have me crazy hooked on it or anything.

Yeah, those "follow the notes" parts are neat. I always tried to do it without missing a beat.

I found a rip of the game's audio on usenet a few months ago. But I believe there is an actual soundtrack floating around as well.
