When I was looking for a couple of titles to have handy for my 27Dec PS3 delivery (I ordered it from Dell on 26Dec and didn't expect it that fast), I had contemplated UT3 but was somewhat hesitant due to the fact previous UT ports to consoles didn't hold up to the PC version. Suffice to say, I walked out of BB with Warhawk and COD4.

Now you have me wanting to head out and pick up UT3. Wonder how I'll explain this deviation with our budget to the girlfriend now.

I totally agree with the campaign...Its like they made it for the sake of making it. At least other games like HALO 3 had a decent campaign...

anyways, cool site. Happy New Years.

Another game I hope to play sooner rather than later!

How are you getting on with Assassins Creed? The bits and bobs I've played have been great but my friends have all got a bit bored of it, they same it's very "samey".

Beautiful looking game though.

If I had a high end PC I would get this game,
If I had a PS3 I would get this game.

But all I own is a 360 and that means I have to wait...

This game does sound really fun and entertaining, but the lack of 360 news has made me less excited. I just hope a 360 version does developed and it isn't stripped down.

@Sulcalibur: You won't be disappointed. That is, unless for some reason the 360 version is nowhere near the caliber of the PS3 version. But I highly doubt that. It's usually the other way around.

@Gavin: Understandable. These types of shooters definitely don't appeal to everyone. And shooters have evolved so much over the past few years, I'm honestly surprised there's still a place for UT.

As for what's next - I'm playing a lot these days, and have a feeling I'll probably get a game or two for Christmas. But right now, I have PGR4 and Warhawk up next. Depends which I play most over the next week or so.

I have to say I have always been a PC gamer and probably still will be along side the 360. Saying that and I may get slightly slated I've never enjoyed a UT experience or Quake. I just don't get it, don't get me wrong I love FPS but they just don't tickle my bits.

I will have a look at it when it eventually arrives on the 360 but I am not holding my breath.

So what's next Matt in your long list?

I gotta say I'm hoping that the 360 version is as complete as the PS3 one. Custom mods sounds really decent, been looking forward to this on consoles for as long as I can remember.
