Dude, you're insane to say nothing impressed you. I know its your opinion but c'mon....

Sony blew everyone away this year... with Nintendo a close 2nd... Microsoft was left holding their junk while they battle their own problems...

M$'s three biggest games were Halo 3, Madden 08 and GTA4... two of which were multi platform...

Resident Evil 5 looks killer!
Killzone 2... are you kidding me?!

I was not impressed by what was announced this year either. There were no new games announced except for a bout two on the Wii.

I'm wondering what will be happening next year because there are no upcoming games I am looking forward to past Q1 of '08.

I was pleased with MS and Sony's layouts this year. Sure there was a few gripes I had about both, namely the faux price drop on PS3 and the underwhelming Halo 3 trailer (still very much looking forward to it though).

I respect that Reggie was only trying to convey how well the Wii & DS are doing but for petes sake, don't go on for 15 fuckin' minutes with bars and charts. People come to see the games. End of story. Wii fit looks pretty neat though.

I look forward to MGS4, Halo 3, RE5, Assassin's Creed, Mario Kart Wii, Haze and the Home extension for PS3.

It seems like I'm the only one but I actually look forward to Killzone 2 based on the fact that I liked the first game. *GASP*

It was sure no "Halo Killer" but I still enjoyed it.

It labels like that that stir up so much damn hatred between fanboys of every platform. It is what it is, a fucking game.

I would have to agree with almost everything you've said. While I wasn't blown away by MS press conference, I think they have the best lineup out of the 3 systems.

Without online in Smash Bros, I'm not interested.

Halo 3, Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect for me for starters. Thank goodness for Gamefly

Man I can't wait for Assasin's Creed, Halo 3 and COD:Modern Warfare. It seems like the xbox has some great games coming, and some great ones out right now, like the Darkness, and The Bigs.

The Bigs kind of surprised me, as I'm not a big sports gamer, but I find myself really liking this game.

Wrote a quick review on http://toddaustin.com

I was dissapointed during this year's E3 as well. While last year was the year of hardware with plenty of surprises, I was left shocked at lack of new apps for this year, let alone at Microsoft's very MEH conference and "Bringing E3 Home" gimmick.

Yeah there were tons of high-profile games there this year. But I wanted to see new games and announcements. I also think that "smaller" titles like Fury didn't get enough attention from the gaming media that they are entitled too.

The 360's Fall and holiday lineup will probably cheer me up a bit though ;)

I actually haven't heard anything special from Nintendo and Sony this year. It's probably only Super Mario Galaxy & Little Big Planet that is really really interesting.

But I can't wait for the 360 releases. I really want to tryout Skate, I've been looking for a real skate simulator with the right feeling to it. Tony Hawk still make great games, but I kinda hate that you have to get down 100000 combos and you have the ability to ollie like crazy etc etc.
