Yeah, I'm thinking of pulling them as well. I mean, what's the use of any service that's down 90% of the time? "Problem loading page" is the most frequent response I get from the gravatar site. Sucks. Big time.

Agreed. I am tempted to buy one just to see the difference but I'll hold off until there is one to rule them all. Well, and until the prices come down. I remember how pissed my folks were when they dropped $700 on a Beta and that newfangled VHS tape won out.

@Ryan: Let's not forget UMD. As history shows, Sony has failed miserably at every other attempt to introduce a new medium. Have a look at what people are saying that have bought the new HD players. My money is on HD DVD. But then again, I'm not buying into "next gen DVDs" until there is a clear winner.

Kyle: I've actually heard Blu-Ray players and DVDs aren't testing that well. I can't find the link now…but the article basically said it's a head-to-head fight between Blu-Ray and HD DVD. Because HD viewers are reporting better overall picture quality, they thought HD would come out the winner. But Sony's showing a lot of faith by pushing Blu-Ray…then again, they showed the same faith in Mini-Disc players.

@David: You know, I don't think I'm familiar with any of the old Rare games. What platform were they on? @Kyle: Battle for Middle-earth 2 is great on the 360. So I can see this game being just fine with a controller. @Nathan: Yeah, I didn't mention PGR4 as I figured it was inevitable. Also, the trailer didn't do much for me. I thought it was weird how it was all stylized when the game itself will look nothing like that. Unless they're totally changing directions, but I doubt that.
