Player almost every star wars game ever put out, and the lego starwars series stands out from them all because they mess up the story from dead serious to stupidily crazy. 9/10 by me. Have you check out the KoTOR series yet?

I have played through both Lego Star Wars 2 and Lego Star Wars 1. I got the first one for my kids and they got me hooked on it. It was loads of fun. When they announced the second one was coming out, they just had to have it. So I got it the day it came out, and I have to say it is much better than the first one. I like the ships a lot better, and I especially like flying the x-wings. They were always my favorite in the movies.

@Mark: Yeah, that's how it works. But every time you die you lose points which you need to unlock characters and extras, and there's achievements for beating each chapter "undefeated".

I played the demo of this, it was actually quite fun but i'm wondering if you can actually die in this game?? it seemed when your hearts ran out youd just pop up again at the sam ezact spot liek nothing happened.

Oh man no. We just started playing and got through a couple levels of LSW1 the other night; haven't gotten #2 yet. (It's on the list.)

I actually just grabbed LSW1 the other day as well. Haven't played it yet and don't expect it to hold up to the standard set for me by LSW2. But should be good for a few hours of fun, at the very least.

Have you unlocked Lego City yet? I just did last night and had lots of fun trying to find the 1,000,000 worth of caps.

I had a great time with the demo of this, so much so that I just picked up LSW 1 for the Xbox to play through first.

I found the camera to be a big weakness too, especially hindering when trying to shoot enemies that are above you. But you get to build stuff and that more than makes up for it.
