What happened to last week?

It started off good, with the release of Halo 2 and watching destory the first day sales record for the entertainment industry. And Firefox 1.0 finally making it’s world-wide debut. Then somewhere, it all went down hill…

Today, a headline on Fark caught my eye. ‘Xbox + Halo 2 + Mod Chip = Xbox Live Bannination’ which linked to this article. Well, I guess that’s the deciding factor in the ‘to mod my Xbox, or not mod my Xbox’ debate. Sucks for those that have already modded their consoles and we’re planning on getting in on the Halo 2 mutilplayer action. But you have to admit, that was a pretty clever move – especially for Microsoft!

Speaking of Halo 2 – yes, I’ve been playing the shit out of it. I actually took Monday and Tuesday off of next week, just in case I didn’t sleep much over the weekend. Some friends in the industry sent me a package the day it came out, which included; the Collector’s Edition game, Halo 2 Xbox Live headset, 12 month subscription to Xbox Live and a Halo 2 tshirt! Pretty fuckin’ awesome of them! Anyways, I won’t get too into details just yet. Almost done the game, at which point I’ll spill the beans and tell you all how radass it is! Deanna and I have been playing co-op and have only a couple more missions to go.

This weekend I also spent some time playing Need For Speed Underground 2 and started Medal Of Honor: Pacific Assault. More on all this gaming goodness to come…
