A week away

November 9th doesn’t seem so far away now. What’s so special about November 9th? Let me tell you…

First off, the long-awaited Halo 2 makes it’s world-wide debut! I had the oppourtunity to play some multiplayer Halo 2 a couple months ago and have caught wind of how awesome the campaign is. Which has got me even more stoked for it’s release! I think I might have to book some time off to rock this shit. Also, while we’re on the topic. Check out Nintendo’s spoof of Microsoft’s Halo 2 ‘I love bees’ campaign – I love seas. = gold!

Second, and most important – Firefox 1.0 will be released! This could very well change the path this ugly old internet is taking. With over 7 million downloads of the preview release, I think it will stand it’s ground against the market dominating, website trashing, virus infecting Internet Explorer browser. Mozilla will also be releasing the final version of their email client, Thunderbird on the same day.

Feels like Christmas! Man, I’m a fuckin’ nerd.
