As you may or may not know. I’m playing drums for a band called Systolic. To make a long story short, I helped form the band back in September of 2002 along with ex-Lucky Number Seven bassist, Brent Seeley. I left the band in May of 2003 and Brent followed suit shortly after. This past May I re-joined Systolic along with Matt Gibson, who’s now playing bass. We’ve been busy learning the new songs, re-learning some old ones and writing new tunes. Things are moving along nicely and we’ve got a couple shows lined up for this summer.

Saturday July 17th – The Dungeon, Oshawa ON
w/ Summer Hero, The Reason, Chuck Calibre and One Second Too Late
This is the first show for the newly re-formed Systolic. We’re playing second, should be around 8:30pm-9pm or so. Make sure you come early if you’re planning to see us.

Wednesday July 28th – The Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto ON
We’re playing a showcase for Ewan Exall’s Against The Grain promotion company. This is a free show, you just need to get your name on the guestlist. We’re on at 9:30pm sharp! If you’d like to come out, please email me with the names you’d like on the list. We’re supposed to get around 100 people on the list, so feel free to toss a few names my way.

There’s also a private barbecue/backyard show planned for mid-August which is invite only. The invites haven’t been sent out, so don’t feel left out if you haven’t received one (yet).

And lastly, the domain is back up and running and a new site will be online before the first show.
