i love half life 2 so much. the first one was amazing. i cant wait to see the story unfold. i dont get a chance to play it too much though because im always busy ranking up in Call Of Duty 4. haha. well nice article by the way dude. i look forward to playing right now.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great reviews you give. Went and bought HL2:Episode this weekend because of your recommendation, and am not dissappointed. (especially since Best Buy had it for 14.99!)

I really loved HL2 and had a great time playing it. That was when I just had my new hardware… Hopefully I’ll be able to run Episode One aswell on my current configuration… Anyone knows the specs for descent gameplay and fair quality graphics?

The commentary alone is indeed worth the $20. Learning how and why some decisions were made while playing the actual game is extremely entertaining, at least for me. Also have some pictures, as Matt mentioned in his review. And Matt, I’ll have to give thanks for linking to my Flickr feed! Appreciate it.

Ah, forgot to mention the commentary. I loved how they included commentary in The Lost Coast and have yet to play Episode One through again with the narative on.

The commentary is worth getting by itself. Of course it come in handy when your low on health and need to kill alot of NPC’s.
