Actually this is my fault – one of my comments is the only reason for this page not to validate. It just has an empty “a” tag – don’t know how did he got there, though. :-) But this can fixed very easily by Matt.

I used to use that technique before I started using negative margins. I switched when I needed to drop something right in the centre of the screen and the negative margin method works best for that. I've changed the centering, but the background on the top gets a little fucked in good browsers - non-IE.
